Privacy Policy
PandazTechPOS · Last updated: May 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information PandazTechPOS (the “App”) collects when you use it, how that information is used, and the choices you have. The App is developed and operated by PandazTech (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”).
PandazTechPOS is a read-only metrics dashboard for the owner of a point-of-sale store. It lets you see your own store’s sales, shifts, and staff activity in real time. It does not process transactions, take payments, or collect data from your store’s end customers.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we collect the email address and password you submit to authenticate you. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider (Supabase) — never in plain text and never visible to us.
- Your store data. The App reads the transaction, shift, and staff records from your existing point-of-sale database. This data is your own business data, owned and controlled by you. We do not collect it independently — we only display it back to you.
- Owner annotations. Flags and private notes you attach to transactions inside the App are saved to your account so they appear on every device you sign into.
- Device and diagnostic data. Apple may share standard TestFlight or App Store crash logs and usage statistics with us. We use these only to diagnose problems with the App.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect data about your store’s end customers (the shoppers who pay at the register).
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not show ads in the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and protect your account.
- To display your store’s metrics, sales activity, staff information, and your own annotations inside the App.
- To diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
- To communicate with you about the App, if you contact us.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run the App:
- Supabase — hosts the database and authentication for the App. Your data lives in your Supabase project, governed by Supabase’s privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
- Apple — provides TestFlight distribution and App Store delivery. Apple’s data handling is described at apple.com/legal/privacy.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Your store data is retained by you in your own database; we do not maintain a separate copy. If you delete your account, your authentication credentials are removed.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- You can sign out at any time, which clears your session from the device.
- You can ask us to delete your account by emailing the address below. We will remove your authentication credentials promptly.
- You retain full ownership of your store data at all times.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your account, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and database-level row security so that no other user can see your store’s data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
8. Children
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where reasonable.
